ZYTAZE® 
What is ZYTAZE®?
ZYTAZE® enhances the effectiveness of botulinum toxin injections.
What are the ingredients in ZYTAZE®?
Each capsule contains Zinc as Zinc Citrate 25mg and Phytase 500mg.
Why should I take ZYTAZE® before my next injection(s)?
To be effective, each molecule of botulinum toxin must be associated with a molecule of zinc. ZYTAZE® is specially formulated to maximize zinc absorption, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of botulinum toxin injections.
What is the recommended dosage of ZYTAZE®?
2 capsules daily for 4 days prior to and on the day of receiving botulinum toxin injections. Each prescription package contains 10 capsules. ZYTAZE® may be taken during meals or snacks, but avoid taking ZYTAZE® within 2 hours of medications and/or supplements.
How does it work?
Studies show patients that use ZYTAZE® to increase their zinc levels for 4 days prior to botulinum toxin injections resulted in an increase in both the effect of treatments and the duration of botulinum toxin. This study suggests that using ZYTAZE® may lead to fewer toxin injections at a lower dose and with less treatment-to-treatment variability in effect. Studies show 24% Patient-specific change in duration of botulinum toxin effect compared to no supplementation.
