About Our Facility
Young Medical Spa’s clients enjoy results-oriented medical spa treatments, clinical facials & massage therapy in a relaxing spa environment. We’ve compiled the answers to some frequently asked questions. So relax and enjoy.
Arrival...
Arrive approximately 15 minutes before your appointment. This will give you time to settle in and complete any necessary forms. Our clients enjoy prompt appointments, so treatments begin and end on time.
Clothing...
Depending on the type of service, there may not be a need to disrobe. Our professional staff respects your privacy and wants you to feel comfortable. Our massage therapists are trained in draping techniques that reveal only the part of the body they are working on.
Physical Concerns...
Concerns relating to pregnancy, impaired mobility, allergies, recent surgeries or medical conditions should be discussed with our physician or providers prior to your visit.
Soothing Music...
During massage and facial treatments a selection of relaxing music is offered. Please feel free to bring your own iPod or CD if you would prefer.
Your Comfort...
If at any time during your treatment, you do not feel comfortable with the temperature, pressure or technique being used, please do not hesitate to advise your practitioner. They will appreciate being able to make your visit more comfortable.
Shhh…
We respectfully request cell phones and PDAs be turned off. It is for your peace of mind as well as those around you. As a courtesy to our guests, we ask that children not be brought to the MedSpa. The minimum age for spa services is sixteen.
Appointment and Cancellation...
Please book appointments two weeks in advance when possible. We request that appointments be held with a credit card, gift card or pre-paid credit. We require a 24 hour notice for date change or cancellation. A 50% fee will be charged if you cancel after this time period. No-shows are charged 100%.
Gratuities...
In appreciation to the staff for outstanding service, gratuities may be given at your discretion.

Paula D. Young, B.S., R.N.
Paula is the staff Nurse and co-owner of Young Medical Spa and is a member of the:

Paula also holds a current license with the Cosmetology Board in the State of Pennsylvania and previously owned a Merle Norman Cosmetics national franchise, a full-service beauty salon, and a chain of tanning salons. Prior to establishing Young Medical Spa, Paula worked for Johnson & Johnson for over 10 years and held senior management positions in the medical and sales education, and customer relationship management departments.
Paula has authored a clinical microdermabrasion article for Medical Spa Report Magazine and also a textbook on advanced aesthetic practices used by the students of the Metro Beauty Academy in Allentown, PA. She is also on the Advisory Team for Metro Beauty Academy.

Karen is our MedSpa Coordinator and oversees sales, marketing & special events, as well as conducting consultations with clients.

Karen is also a licensed medical aesthetician & has been in the medical skin care & spa management field since 2002. In addition, she is a national educator with Results RX/CosMedix skin care line.

Lisa is an experienced Licensed Medical Aesthetician certified in laser & IPL treatments. She performs clinical facials, chemical peels, waxing, crystal-free DiamondTip™ Microdermabrasion, paraffin treatments, laser hair removal, skin tightening, & Swedish massage.Lisa works with clients to design personalized skin care regimens utilizing SkinCeuticals, Glytone, Avene & Obagi Medical products.
Jennifer Heller
Medical Aesthetician
Jennifer is a graduate of Metro Beauty Academy's prestigious Advanced Esthetics Curriculum. She is the primary VelaShape technician & also performs Palomar Lux1540 Skin Resurfacing & LuxDeepIR Skin Tightening procedures.
Melody ShawMedical Assistant
Melody directly assists Dr.Young in the O.R. & treatment rooms performing multiple functions such as EKGs, medication administration, injections & vital sign monitoring.
Jennifer Lambert Mortellaro
Senior Operating Room & Medical Assistant
She is the Senior O.R. technician overseeing the daily functions of the OR, assists Dr. Young and his patients in the operating room & also performs EKGs, medication administration, injections & vitals.

Stacie is one of the friendly voices who answers the telephones at Young Medical Spa. With an education in the beauty industry & years of experience in service-oriented businesses, Stacie is experienced in handling any concerns & questions clients, or potential clients, may have.

Certified Massage Therapist, Body Central, Inc.
Scott R. Link is a nationally certified massage therapist, through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork, who specializes in Myofascial Release & Neuromuscular Therapy.
Scott is a member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals Organization & is the owner of Body Central Therapeutic Massage & Wellness Center in Coopersburg. Young Medical Spa is pleased to have Scott join our team approach to better health & wellness through medicine, therapies & touch.
