The Palomar Lux DeepIR™ Fractional™ handpiece delivers infrared light into the skin in an array of small regularly spaced beams, with depth of treatment ranging from 1 to 6 mm into the deep dermis. This fractional heating creates a lattice of treated islets, with each islet surrounded by unaffected tissue. These columns of heat penetrate deep into the dermal layer where it creates a carefully controlled area of elevated temperature.
This technology has shown to trigger a biological response which leads to collagen remodeling in the deep dermis. Remodeled collagen can smooth out fine wrinkles and tighten sagging skin. Deep heating with infrared light stimulates increased collagen production,creating long term results.
This new technology allows the procedure to be faster, safer and painless which is a great improvement over other competing technologies. A series of two to three treatments is required for optimal results as time is needed between treatments to allow for tissue healing. Results are typically seen in 1-6 months.

The Palomar Lux1540 Fractional™ Laser (non-ablative)
is the latest generation in skin resurfacing technology. The Palomar Fractional™ laser smooths fine lines and wrinkles, improves skin discoloration as well as offers mild skin tightening, but without the downtime or mild to moderate redness associated with other skin resurfacing technologies.
The Palomar Lux1540 Fractional™ laser treats only a portion of the targeted skin at a time by delivering light in an array of microbeams into the skin.These microbeams penetrate well below the epidermis and into the dermis, sparing the tissue surrounding the beams from damage. The tissue within these beams initiates a natural healing process that accelerates the formation of new, healthy tissue and the fractional treatment of the skin allows for faster healing with visible results in skin color, texture, tone, fine lines and wrinkles. Downtime ranges from 1 to 3 days.
Lux1540™
Palomar Fractional™ skin resurfacing treatments are effective only when performed in a series of sessions because each session treats only 20 to 25% of the skin. By treating just a percentage of the skin, the surrounding untreated skin drives the healing process, filling in the treated area with healthy, more youthful looking skin. The“fractional” treatment of the skin creates seamless, radiant skin without the unwanted side effects associated with other skin resurfacing technology.

is part of the StarLux 500 laser and pulsed light platform which is the most powerful laser and pulsed light aesthetic platform in the world!
